Football Game Preview: Beloved Community Charter Owls vs. Passaic County Tech Bulldogs

The Beloved Community Charter Owls will head out on the road to face off against the Passaic County Tech Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Beloved Community Charter's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on April 7th. They came out on top against Hoboken by a score of 13-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Owls.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Passaic County Tech, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 7-0 win over Clifton on Thursday.

A big part of Passaic County Tech's victory came down to the chemistry between Jazriel Miranda and her top target Mia Gamon. Miranda threw for 100 yards and one TD while Gamon picked up 100 receiving yards and one touchdown. Those 100 receiving yards gave Gamon a new career-high.

Passaic County Tech pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 3.0 points on average over those games. As for Beloved Community Charter, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
