Baseball Recap: Flippin Find Success

Flippin posted their closest victory since April 9, 2024 on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Cave City Cavemen 5-4. That's more bragging rights for the Bobcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Flippin has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. Cave City's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Flippin Bobcats take on Valley Springs Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Cave City, they will take on Bergman at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
