Basketball Recap: Heber Springs Comes Up Short

Heber Springs suffered their biggest defeat since February 16th on Friday. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Pottsville Apaches an easy 70-49 victory. The Panthers have struggled against the Apaches recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Heber Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Pottsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Heber Springs and De Queen will round out the year against one another at at 9:48 a.m. on Thursday. Heber Springs is facing De Queen at the right time seeing as De Queen is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Pottsville, they will take on Mills University Studies at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
