Soccer Recap: Louisa County Takes a Loss

Louisa County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat. They came up short against the Albemarle Patriots, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, Louisa County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 235th, while Albemarle are ranked 42nd).

Louisa County's loss dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Albemarle, their win bumped their record up to 10-5-2.

Meanwhile, Albemarle is set to take on their familiar foe Western Albemarle at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Albemarle are on a four-game streak of home wins, Western Albemarle a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
