Eastlake has gone 9-1 against Newport - Bellevue recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Wolves will be playing at home against the Knights at 3:00 p.m. Eastlake will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Eastlake barely beat Skyline the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Spartans on Friday.

Eastlake saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rodrigo Montano, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most RBI Montano has posted since back in April of 2024. Kade Haroldsen was another, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Newport - Bellevue didn't have quite enough to beat North Creek on Monday and fell 3-1. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Jaguars recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Brooks Kapfhammer was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. What's more, he gave up only two walks, the fewest he's had since back in March.

On the hitting side, Julian Unay made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base. That home run marked the first that he has launched this season.

Newport - Bellevue's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Eastlake, their win bumped their record up to 13-5.
