Softball Recap: McKinney Boyd Takes a Loss

McKinney Boyd was the 17-6 winner over Plano East when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Broncos fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 5-4 on Tuesday. The Broncos have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

McKinney Boyd saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Vlahos, who went 1-for-4 with one home run. Leah Teague was another, going 1-for-4 with one triple and one RBI.

McKinney Boyd's record is now 14-10. As for Plano East, their win bumped their record up to 17-9.

Coincidentally, McKinney Boyd and Plano East will both be playing Rock Hill the next time they take the field. The Broncos will host the Blue Hawks at 7:15 p.m. on Friday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
