Basketball Game Preview: Eunice Cardinals vs. Texico Wolverines

Eunice hasn't had much luck against Texico recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Eunice Cardinals will square off against the Texico Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Eunice comes in on three and Texico on four.

Last Monday, Eunice was able to grind out a solid victory over Tatum, taking the game 64-51.

Meanwhile, Texico humbled Tatum with a 79-36 victory. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Texico's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-2. As for Eunice, their victory bumped their record up to 19-8.

Eunice lost to Texico on the road by a decisive 55-39 margin in their previous meeting two weeks ago. Can Eunice avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
