Volleyball Recap: Minarets Victorious

Minarets lost to Atwater back in September of 2015, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Mustangs had just enough and edged out the Falcons 2-1.

Angelina Woolsey paced Minarets' offense, picking up 11 kills. Woolsey got some help from Zaphara Byron-Hamilton and her 11 assists. Aubrey Luz controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Minarets' win bumped their record up to 10-11. As for Atwater, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-3.

Minarets wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Dos Palos on the 20th. As for Atwater, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Hanford West on the 20th.
