Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They took down the Mishawaka Marian Knights 77-58. The Braves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Mishawaka Marian's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Prescott Horvath, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Horvath is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Andre Wells, who went 6-for-15 on his way to 17 points.

Coming up, Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against Fort Wayne North Side at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mishawaka Marian, they will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Goshen at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
