Basketball Recap: Myrtle Comes Up Short

Myrtle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Falkner Eagles, falling 57-16. The game marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Myrtle's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Falkner, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-6.

Myrtle has already played their next contest (against Jumpertown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Falkner didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 67-40 defeat against Walnut on the 25th.
