Volleyball Recap: Anthony Wayne's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Perrysburg, Anthony Wayne was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Northwest Ohio Classical Academy Spartans 3-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Generals as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Anthony Wayne was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-7, 25-14.

Anthony Wayne's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Northwest Ohio Classical Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

Anthony Wayne has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Springfield on the 29th. As for Northwest Ohio Classical Academy, they will welcome Swanton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
