Soccer Game Preview: Hilton Head Island vs. Parkview

The Hilton Head Island Seahawks will face off against the Parkview Panthers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Hilton Head Island is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Bishop England just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Battling Bishops by a score of 1-0. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Hilton Head Island couldn't quite close it out.

Meanwhile, Parkview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of May River.

Hilton Head Island's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Parkview, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Hilton Head Island might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Parkview in their previous meeting back in March of 2022. Can the Seahawks avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
