Cross has gone 6-1 against Branchville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Cross Trojans will head out on the road to challenge the Branchville Yellow Jackets at 7:30 p.m. One thing working in Cross' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven contests.

If Cross beats Branchville with 75 points on Friday, it's going to be the team's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. Cross blew past Military Magnet Academy 75-54 on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Trojans in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Branchville strolled past Palmetto Scholars Academy with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 56-41.

Cross pushed their record up to 12-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.7 points over those games. As for Branchville, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.

Cross was able to grind out a solid victory over Branchville when the teams last played back in February of 2019, winning 62-53. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cross since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
