Whitman typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Richard Montgomery proved too difficult a challenge. They managed a 71-67 win over the Whitman Vikings. The victory was nothing new for the Rockets as they're now sitting on four straight.

Despite the loss, Whitman saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Max Williams went 6 for 13 en route to 15 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Another player making a difference was Jack Wills, who posted nine points along with eight boards and three steals.

Richard Montgomery pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Whitman, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 12-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richard Montgomery has already played their next contest (against Sherwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Whitman will head out on the road to take on Seneca Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Whitman is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 67.9 points per game this season.
