Softball Game Preview: Converse Wildcats vs. West Sabine Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Converse Wildcats duke it out with West Sabine Tigers at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Converse has given up an average of 10.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Converse and Logansport have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. Converse came up short against Logansport, falling 17-7.

Meanwhile, West Sabine didn't have quite enough to beat Alto on Saturday and fell 5-4. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gracie Ross was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Converse's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for West Sabine, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.
