Mesa Vista waltzed into their game on Thursday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 49-42 win over the Sandia Prep Sundevils. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2024.

Mesa Vista's victory bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Sandia Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mesa Vista will take on Los Alamos at 4:30 p.m. on January 18th. As for Sandia Prep, they will face off against Legacy Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Legacy Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 56.3 points per game this season.
