After a string of six wins, Westmont's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 3-1 to the Pioneer Mustangs. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mustangs earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 17-25, 25-18.

Sidney Duong was the offensive standout of the match as he had nine digs and two aces.

Westmont's defeat dropped their record down to 22-9. As for Pioneer, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4.
