Volleyball Game Preview: Sharon Tigers vs. Titusville Rockets

The Sharon Tigers are taking a road trip to square off against the Titusville Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Sharon will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Tuesday, Sharon was able to grind out a solid win over Sharpsville, taking the game 3-1.

Sharon had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 25-20, 25-21, 25-22.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Titusville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past Grove City 3-0 on Tuesday.

Titusville was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-11, 25-21.

The victory got Titusville back to even at 6-6. As for Sharon, their record is now 9-4.

Sharon couldn't quite get it done against Titusville when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Tigers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
