Basketball Recap: Islesboro Central Takes a Loss

Islesboro Central lost against Buckfield back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Islesboro Central Eagles fell 44-33 to the Buckfield Bucks. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Islesboro Central now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Buckfield, they moved to 2-4 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Islesboro Central will finish 2024 at home by hosting Temple Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. Islesboro Central is facing Temple Academy at the right time seeing as Temple Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak. Buckfield and Wiscasset will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. on December 30th.
