Football Game Recap: Goldendale vs. White Swan

Goldendale had a rough outing against Columbia last week, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Goldendale were the clear victor with a 40-14 margin. The success represented a nice turnaround for them, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-53 defeat.

Goldendale's offense came in ready to rumble, picking up 20 points in the first half. White Swan came up with 14 to make it 20-14 heading into the break. The Goldendale defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game. The win got them back to even at 1-1. The loss dropped White Swan's record to 0-2.

Next week Goldendale take on La Salle at Marquette Stadium Yakima at 7:00 PM. White Swan looks to establish their home field advantage as they take on Dayton at 7:00 PM.
