Basketball Game Preview: Adrian Maples vs. Northwest Mounties + How To Watch

The Adrian Maples will take on the Northwest Mounties at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

On Friday, Adrian earned a 61-52 victory over Madison. The Maples haven't had any issues with the Trojans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Northwest was able to grind out a solid victory over DeWitt on Friday, taking the game 59-50.

Northwest found their leader in freshman Roe-Darrel DeDeaux II, who went 8-for-19 en route to 22 points and three steals. Malik Hill was another key player, shooting 50% from the field to rack up 12 points and five boards.

Adrian's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Northwest, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 2-0.

Everything came up roses for Adrian against Northwest in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, as the team secured a 68-38 win. Will the Maples repeat their success, or do the Mounties have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
