St. Clair extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping them up to 7-11-1. They put the hurt on the Hermann Bearcats with a sharp 3-0 victory. Surprisingly, this marked the Bulldogs' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Kylie Barnard paced St. Clair's offense, picking up nine kills. Barnard got some help from Addy DeClue and her 29 assists. Finally, Barnard was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high seven blocks.

As for Hermann, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-8-1. Surprisingly, this marked their fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Hermann's loss came despite strong showings from Kealie Lane and Erika Schutt. Lane had 15 digs and one assist, while Schutt had nine digs. Lane is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 14 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

St. Clair didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Salem on the 29th. As for Hermann, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Washington at 6:00 p.m. on the 6th.
