            Soccer Recap: General McLane vs. McDowell        
        
		
        
        
             General McLane waltzed into their match  on Monday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They walked away with  a   3-1  win over the McDowell Trojans. Even though the Lancers got in a bit of trouble with the refs ( Gus Brasington was handed a red card), the team managed to overcome the adversity.
  Carter Sindlinger and 
 Aidan Price scored all three of General McLane's goals,  bringing their combined season tally to 39 goals.
 General McLane's victory was  their sixth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-3. As for McDowell,  the  loss snapped their winning streak at six games  and leaves them with a 6-1 record.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. General McLane will stay at home for another  game and welcome Meadville at 6:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. General McLane is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.5  goals per game  this season. As for McDowell, they will host Bradford  at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. McDowell is facing Bradford at the right time seeing as Bradford is stuck on  an  eight-game losing streak.
