Danay Hernandez Game Report: vs Coronado

While Danay Hernandez delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Kellis. Hernandez pitched two innings while giving up just one earned (and seven unearned) runs off four hits. The performance also marked the fewest walks (one) she has had since back in March of 2024.

Hernandez and Kellis will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North Canyon at 3:45 p.m. on March 24th. The Cougars got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Rattlers thanks in part to Hernandez: she went 1-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Can she match (or beat) that performance?
