Football Recap: Springfield Southeast Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Springfield Southeast had lost four straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-6 to make it five. They had to suffer through a 50-14 loss at the hands of the Normal University Pioneers. The Spartans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-0.

As for Normal University, the win got them back to even at 4-4. The victory continues a trend for them in their matchups with Springfield Southeast: they've now won seven in a row.

Max Dameron had a dynamite game, rushing for 44 yards and three scores. Aiden Olson got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Springfield Southeast wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 26-18 win against Decatur Eisenhower on the 24th. As for Normal University, they have also already played their next matchup, a 52-14 victory against Lanphier on the 24th.
