Meanwhile, Neligh-Oakdale earned a 57-47 win over Lutheran-Northeast on Tuesday.

West Holt better focus on containing Jaycee Gadeken and Jaquelin Luna-Duran as the pair were huge in Neligh-Oakdale's win. Gadeken posted 19 points in addition to eight steals and seven assists, while Luna-Duran went 8 for 20 en route to 21 points along with eight rebounds and five steals. The dominant performance gave Gadeken a new career-high in assists. Bree Kester was another key player, putting up nine points.

Neligh-Oakdale was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

West Holt is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.1 points per game. As for Neligh-Oakdale, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.

Everything came up roses for West Holt against Neligh-Oakdale in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 64-37 win. Will West Holt repeat their success, or does Neligh-Oakdale have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
