Softball Game Preview: Shaler Area Titans vs. Knoch Knights

The Shaler Area Titans will challenge the Knoch Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Shaler Area 3.5, Knoch 1.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Knoch will challenge a team with plenty of momentum: Shaler Area extended their winning streak to three on Monday. The Titans skirted past New Castle 3-1.

Meanwhile, Knoch unfortunately witnessed the end of their 16-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 7-4 to Laurel.

Grace Hensch made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. Carissa Tekely was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Knoch's defeat dropped their record down to 17-2. As for Shaler Area, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.
