Basketball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

On Wednesday, the Perry Panthers were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 45-39 to the Tuscarawas Valley Trojans.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tuscarawas Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elli Wallick, who posted ten points and five boards. Another player making a difference was Brennen Reichman, who scored six points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Perry's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for Tuscarawas Valley, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 17-5.

Looking ahead, Perry will square off against Solon at 7:00 p.m. on February 19th. Tuscarawas Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
