Basketball Recap: Lone Jack Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lone Jack can now relate to. They took a 60-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stover Bulldogs.

Lone Jack's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Garrett Mantzey, who to rack up 16 points. That's the most points Mantzey has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Brett Nicholson, who en route to 13 points.

Lone Jack has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. The win made it two in a row for Stover and bumps their season record up to 10-14.

As of now, neither Lone Jack nor Stover have any future games scheduled.
