Basketball Game Preview: Gladwin Flying G's vs. Ogemaw Heights Falcons

The Gladwin Flying G will challenge the Ogemaw Heights Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Gladwin is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.

Last Tuesday, Gladwin strolled past Shepherd with points to spare, taking the game 55-38. Given the Flying G's advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 142nd, while the Bluejays are ranked 536th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Ogemaw Heights lost 55-33 to Clare on Tuesday. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Gladwin pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Ogemaw Heights, their loss dropped their record down to 8-6.
