Basketball Recap: Sarah Rhyne's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Lincolnton over T.C. Roberson

On Thursday, the Lincolnton Wolves came up short against the T.C. Roberson Rams and fell 59-46. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Several Wolves players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sarah Rhyne, who posted seven points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Nyla Johnson, who put up 12 points.

Lincolnton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for T.C. Roberson, their win ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-4.

Lincolnton and North Gaston will face off at 2:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for T.C. Roberson, they will square off against North Buncombe at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
