Basketball Game Preview: Grace M. James Academy of Excellence GEMS vs. Valley Vikings

The Grace M. James Academy of Excellence GEMS will kick their season off against the Valley Vikings on Wednesday. Tip off is scheduled at 6:00 p.m.

Valley is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Moore just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Monday. They fell 75-66 to the Mustangs.

Valley's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-4.

As for Grace M. James Academy of Excellence, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they had a phenomenal run, finishing with a superb 13-2 record.
