Culver Academies has gone 6-0 against South Bend Riley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Culver Academies Eagles will be playing in front of their home fans against the South Bend Riley Wildcats at 2:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

South Bend Riley is facing Culver Academies at the wrong time: Culver Academies suffered their first home loss of the season back in December of 2024 and they're likely out for redemption. They fell 48-35 to the Lancers. While the Eagles didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Lancers 14-10 in the first quarter.

Despite their loss, Culver Academies saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Kate Clemons, who posted five points and eight boards, was perhaps the best of all. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Binkley, who had four points.

Even though they lost, Culver Academies smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Meanwhile, South Bend Riley also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to South Bend St. Joseph by a score of 56-43.

South Bend Riley's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8. As for Culver Academies, their loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 11-3.

Everything came up roses for Culver Academies against South Bend Riley when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as the squad secured a 44-17 victory. Will Culver Academies repeat their success, or does South Bend Riley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
