Volleyball Recap: Prince George Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Prince George unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Manchester Lancers on Monday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Royals in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost four in a row.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Prince George will head out to challenge Godwin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Manchester, they will square off against Monacan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Lancers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
