Volleyball Recap: White River Valley Has No Trouble Against Cloverdale

White River Valley won the last time they faced Cloverdale and things went their way on Thursday too. The Wolverines were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Clovers. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Wolverines.

One reason for the win was White River Valley's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-13, 25-10.

Hailey Grover paced White River Valley's offense, picking up 12 kills. Grover got some help from Evelyn Abrams and her 32 assists. Abrams was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

White River Valley's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Cloverdale, their loss was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-15.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. White River Valley will welcome Orleans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cloverdale, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Indian Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
