Soccer Recap: West Broward Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Plantation, West Broward was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 4-2 victory over the South Plantation Paladins. The game was the first time West Broward have beaten South Plantation on their pitch since January 26, 2022.

West Broward hit South Plantation with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from William Esquivel (2), Brenden Skilling, and Alejandro Echeverria.

West Broward pushed their record up to 6-6-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those three matches. As for South Plantation, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10-2 record this season.

West Broward and South Plantation will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Bobcats see the pitch they'll take on Everglades at 4:00 p.m. on January 7, 2026. As for South Plantation, their break will end when they face Flanagan at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2026.
