Volleyball Recap: DSST: Montview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

DSST: Montview was the 3-0 winner over George Washington when they last played one another back in August of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots on Tuesday. While the Knights didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Patriots 25-19 in the first set.

DSST: Montview started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 19-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-22.

George Washington was led to victory by Hannah Kenda and Cecilia Aragon. Kenda had eight digs and three aces, while Aragon had 16 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Kenda has posted since back in October of 2024.

DSST: Montview's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

DSST: Montview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Kent Denver on the 28th. As for George Washington, they will face off against Aurora Central at 6:30 p.m. on the 4th.
