Wasatch is a perfect 6-0 against Payson since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Wasps will host the Lions at 7:00 p.m. Payson took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Wasatch, who comes in off a win.

While Wasatch's victory against Timpview wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wasps skirted past the Thunderbirds 4-3. The win made it back-to-back victories for Wasatch.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Payson's offense. They fell just short of Juab by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Payson have lost by just one goal.

Wasatch now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Payson, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-3.

Everything went Wasatch's way against Payson in their previous meeting back in April of 2021, as Wasatch made off with a 7-1 win. In that contest, the Wasps amassed a halftime lead of 3-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
