Booker is 7-0 against Bayshore since December of 2014 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Having just played yesterday, the Booker Tornadoes will head out on the road to face off against the Bayshore Bruins at 7:30 p.m. Booker will be strutting in after a win while Bayshore will be coming in after a loss.
On Wednesday, Booker made easy work of Braden River and carried off a 65-40 victory.
Chris Perets was his usual excellent self, putting up 25 points. J.P Lattimore was another key player, posting 11 points.
Meanwhile, Bayshore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 72-53 bruising from Parrish Community. The Bruins were down 50-27 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
The win got Booker back to even at 4-4. As for Bayshore, their loss dropped their record down to 2-8.
Booker was able to grind out a solid victory over Bayshore when the teams last played back in February, winning 58-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Booker since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
