Shannon Wingate Dazzles in North Lincoln Victory

Shannon Wingate's big game helped extend North Lincoln's winning streak to six on Friday. Nobody could stop Wingate as he rushed for 165 yards and three touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 139 rushing yards.

North Lincoln pushed their record up to 10-1 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season. Wingate and North Lincoln will head out to square off against West Henderson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Hickory Wins 27th-Straight Thanks to Brady Stober

Brady Stober's big game helped extend Hickory's winning streak to 27 on Friday. Stober was unstoppable, throwing for 209 yards and two touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes, and also rushing for 52 yards and a touchdown.

Stober and Hickory will play host again on Friday to welcome Statesville, where kickoff is scheduled at 7:00 p.m. The last time Stober took on the Greyhounds, he threw for 186 yards and two touchdowns while completing 76.5% of his passes, and also rushed for 72 yards on only nine carries. Landen Agee's big game helped extend North Lincoln's winning streak to six on Friday. North Davidson had no answer to Agee as he rushed for 113 yards on only nine carries, and also picked up 54 receiving yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Agee has posted since back in November of 2023.

For the season, Agee has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 13.1 receiving yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 34.64 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 69.27 rushing yards.

Lackey is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Statesville on Friday. Lackey rushed for 148 yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Greyhounds duked it out two weeks ago.
