Baseball Recap: San Ysidro Takes a Loss

San Ysidro fell victim to Eastlake and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Titans, falling 10-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Titans this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-2 loss back in April.

San Ysidro saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Axel Reyes, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

This is the second loss in a row for San Ysidro and nudges their season record down to 15-11. As for Eastlake, they pushed their record up to 15-8-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

San Ysidro wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-4 victory against Bonita Vista on the 14th. As for Eastlake, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Montgomery on the 14th.
