Basketball Recap: Jennings Takes a Loss

Jennings lost against Madison Prep Academy back in March of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jennings Bulldogs took an 83-68 bruising from Madison Prep Academy. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (55), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Jennings dropped their record down to 13-16 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.0 points over those games. As for Madison Prep Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jennings will square off against St. Louis Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison Prep Academy, they will take on Dunham at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
