Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Prairie Central). They managed a 20-14 win over the Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts on Friday. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Grey Ghosts recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Dalton Steidinger threw for 97 yards on ten of 16 attempts. Collin Kilgus was his top target, picking up 44 receiving yards. On the ground, Will Skala rushed for 159 yards and one score while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

Keegan Schol and Cade Jackson certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Schol rushed for 60 yards and one TD, while Jackson rushed for 78 yards.

Prairie Central now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Illinois Valley Central, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-5.
