Baseball Recap: Horicon Comes Up Short

Horicon was the 9-5 winner over Mayville when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Marshmen came up short against the Cardinals on Friday, falling 11-2.

Horicon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Anderson, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Horicon now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mayville, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Coming up, Horicon is taking a road trip to square off against Lomira at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mayville, they will be playing at home against Campbellsport at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
