Castlemont is a perfect 4-0 against Madison Park Academy since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the Trojan-Warriors at 3:30 p.m. Madison Park Academy took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Castlemont, who comes in off a win.

Castlemont's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over Oakland. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Castlemont's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Oakland are ranked 989th).

Meanwhile, Madison Park Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Oakland Tech.

Madison Park Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7-1. As for Castlemont, their win bumped their record up to 8-0.

Everything went Castlemont's way against Madison Park Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as Castlemont made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
