Basketball Game Preview: Bynum Bulldogs vs. Morgan Eagles

The Bynum Bulldogs will face off against the Morgan Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Bynum has three straight victories, Morgan has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Last Friday, Bynum blew past Blum, posting a 67-23 win. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 24 points or more this season.

Bynum's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chris Howell led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine rebounds. Joshua Castro was another key player, going 7 for 11 on his way to 17 points.

Bynum smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in six consecutive games.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Morgan duked it out withCovington on Friday. Morgan had to suffer through a 57-18 loss at the hands of Covington. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Bynum has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. As for Morgan, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.
