Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley barely beat Lexington the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Falcons blew past the Minutemen 14-4 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won five matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Mallory Rosendahl made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off eight hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, firing off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances.
