Baseball Game Preview: Dayton Greendevils vs. Scott Eagles

Dayton is on a ten-game streak of home losses, and Scott a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The Dayton Greendevils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Scott Eagles at 5:00 p.m. Dayton has given up an average of 13.2 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Dayton couldn't beat Boone County on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Greendevils came up short against the Rebels, falling 18-6.

Meanwhile, Scott fell victim to Conner and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. The shutout was out of character for the Eagles seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

Dayton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-28-1. As for Scott, their loss dropped their record down to 14-18.
