            Baseball Recap: Penn Cambria Panthers vs. Richland Rams        
        
		
        
        
            After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Forest Hills, Penn Cambria was happy to have turned things around  on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Richland Rams, sneaking past  10-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest  victory the Panthers have posted  against the Rams since April 24, 2017.
 Ryan Hanlon made a splash no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Hanlon was also big at the plate,  scoring four  runs and  stealing two bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted since back in April of 2024.
 In other pitching news,  Drake Talko looked comfortable as he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits.
 Back at the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Corbin Vinglish, who  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI and one  stolen base. That's the most  hits  he has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Caden Gibbons, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Penn Cambria's win  ended  a  seven-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 2-1. As for Richland,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-3.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Penn Cambria will welcome Bishop Guilfoyle  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. The Marauders have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.2  runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Richland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hollidaysburg  at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday.
