The Woodlands won the last time they faced Conroe and things went their way on Friday too. The Highlanders blew past the Tigers 59-10. Considering the Highlanders have won six matchups by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.2 points over those games. As for Conroe, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season.

The Woodlands and Conroe should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Highlanders will square off against Oak Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (46 vs. 356). Meanwhile, Conroe (ranked 235th) will meet Cleveland (ranked 952nd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
